Souk El Had is Agadir’s main covered market — spices, textiles, household goods — east of the beach hotels, not on the corniche. Guests staying in Taghazout village or Taghazout Bay book a private car so they skip the grand-taxi wait at Battoire and a second hop across the city. This is a city drop-off. It is not Taghazout to Agadir Airport (300 / 450 MAD published).

Where we drop you
Souk El Had (also searched as Souk Elhad, Marché El Had, Agadir central market) sits inland from the tourist strip. Drivers drop at the souk gates; the aisles are walked. Saturday is the busiest market day; other days are quieter. We do not sell tours or souvenirs — we drive you to the entrance and wait or return later if you book a wait or a round trip on WhatsApp.
Distance and travel time
Taghazout village or Taghazout Bay to Souk El Had is typically about 25–35 km depending on the hotel gate. Plan 30–45 minutes in normal traffic, longer late afternoon.
How the transfer works
Send the Taghazout hotel, camp or pin and “Souk El Had”. We collect at the lobby or gate, drive the coast through Aourir into Agadir, then east to the market. Agree the fare in the same WhatsApp thread before we start. If you want a return after shopping, say so when you book so the driver plans the wait or a later pickup.
Hotel pickup
Bay resorts use the main porte-cochère. Village camps and rentals: share a Google Maps pin if the lane is narrow. We do not invent a Hilton-only or Fairmont-only supplement on this page.
Timing
Leave extra time on Saturday mornings. City traffic through Aourir and the Agadir ring can add 10–15 minutes. The driver cannot hold a parking space inside the souk.
Price
This is a local Taghazout–Agadir hop. We confirm the fare on WhatsApp for your two pins. Do not use the published airport list (Taghazout ↔ AGA 300 / 450 MAD, Agadir city ↔ AGA 200 / 320 MAD) for a souk, beach, marina or hotel-to-hotel ride.
Why a reserved car
A reserved car goes hotel door to souk gate. Bus 32 and shared grands taxis stop on the coast road, not at your Hilton lobby. Families and bags fit a van. Price is per vehicle, written on WhatsApp — do not use the 300 MAD airport figure for this hop.

- Do you pick up at Hilton Taghazout Bay for the souk?
- Yes. Hilton, Fairmont, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Place, Radisson Blu Surf Village, RIU Palace Tikida Taghazout, village camps and Tamraght stays. Send the official hotel name.
- Can the driver wait while we shop?
- Yes if you book a wait or a return on WhatsApp. We write that in the same thread. We do not invent a free-hours promise here.
- Is Souk El Had the same as Agadir marina?
- No. The marina and corniche are on the sea. Souk El Had is the inland market. Use /taghazout-to-agadir-marina if that is your drop-off.
